What we collect

If you subscribe by email, we store your email address, the date you confirmed it, and which page you subscribed from.

If you sign in with Google or LinkedIn, we receive and store your name, email address, and profile picture from that provider. We never receive your password.

If you send a submission, we store the details you enter on that form.

What we do with it

We use your email address to send you essays you have asked for, and to reply to correspondence. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Where it is held

Subscriber and account records are held in a managed PostgreSQL database. Email is delivered through Resend. Both are processors acting on our instructions.

Cookies

We set one cookie, and only after you sign in: it keeps you signed in between visits. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe link. To exercise any other right, write to editor@theatheneumreview.com.
